Camp Waziyatah in Waterford, Maine is where the one-week session of Wazi Champs Camp takes place each August. Wazi has a uniquely welcoming and kind environment which is very deliberately built into everything we do. We have a fun, close-knit and inclusive community that welcomes kids for who they are. Kids are never divided into cliques, groups, or newcomers vs. previous campers. Our no-tech environment promotes a healthy atmosphere of human connections and real communication. Wazi CHAMPS Camp will help military kids grow, make new friends and build independence, and of course, it’s an absolute blast! CHAMPS Camp kids will bond through common experiences with other children dealing with deployment and have a great time doing it. We have an amazing staff of caring and well-vetted young people from all over the world, many of whom have been with us for years.
